Price £75.00 (includes the talk, a glass of champagne and the 8-course dinner)
We invite you to experience the last dinner served on the Titanic at our special event on Saturday 16th April.
To make our event even more special we will be joined by John Mayo-Evans, a deep-sea diver who has been part of two expeditions to recover artifacts from the Titanic. John will be giving a brief insight into his amazing experience on the night having witnessed first-hand the ghosts of one of maritime history’s biggest disasters.
The evening will begin at 6.30pm with the talk from John followed by a Champagne Reception and a lavish eight-course dinner in our Georgian Restaurant, replicating the last dinner served on the Titanic. Dinner will be accompanied by the music from the highly sought after ‘Astaria Ensemble’. Members of the string quartet are accomplished musicians in their own right, playing for royalty and celebrities, as well as touring with acts such as The Divine Comedy, Chris de Burgh, Katherine Jenkins and Russell Watson.
Their performance will include some of the well know hymns played on the Titanic, including the last heart-wrenching ‘Nearer My God to Thee’ played by the string quartet whilst the ship was sinking.
The event is a repeat of our first event in 2015 by popular request.
