For couples looking for a religious ceremony there are two local churches situated nearby our country house wedding venue. As quaint and quintessentially English as a village church can be, why not exchange your vows at St Matthew’s Marstow? Or for larger guest numbers the ancient and beautiful St Mary’s Parish Church in Ross-on-Wye

We got married here in May 2024, we originally booked our wedding for May 2025, however due to my mother being very unwell we brought our wedding forward. Glewstone Court were accommodating from the very start, especially Gary and Amy when it came to the planning. For the wedding weekend we had Charles and Sam with us, they were on the ball and ensured everything ran so smoothly. The food was fantastic and the venue and setting were incredible, we could not recommend this venue enough. Thank you again for our incredible day, it was so incredibly special to have my mother there too and Glewstone helped us make that happen!

Beautiful wedding venue - our perfect day!
We absolutely picked the most perfect venue to host our wedding. It is the most wonderful venue that we fell in love with when we first visited and proved to be even more special and spectacular surrounded by all our family and friends. The staff were attentive and provided a first class service. In particular we don’t think we have enough words to truly thank and show our appreciation for Sam and Charles on the day. They were absolutely incredible - attentive, kind, thoughtful, fun and they organised to perfection and took away any worries or concerns we thought we might have had. We had loads of comments from our guests about how beautiful the venue was, how great the food was, the great staff and how perfect it was for our day. We especially appreciated the thoughtfulness of the early check in for Ellie, helping us decorate the venue (including putting up our mirror!), the glass of whiskey when needed and the checks in throughout.

Best day EVER!
We chose Glewstone Court for our wedding, and we were all so blown away by how incredible it was in every possible way. They went above and beyond in every sense, Charles and Sam in particular were amazing on the big day. Everyone said how brilliant they were. It was certainly a joy to have people so cool, calm, and collected on such a crazy day! We'd been speaking with Amy prior to the big day, and she was so lovely and knowledgeable that it made planning an absolute dream. Gary was very polite and friendly, and it was lovely to meet him. At a lot of venues, you don't often see the owners, but it's lovely that he's so hands on here and it's clear that he (and everyone else) really do care and always give 100%. We would recommend Glewstone Court to anyone, and we can't wait to return in the future! It's such a wonderful building, and the location is stunning. We booked for 48 hours, and everyone commented on how beautiful the food was at every meal. The rooms were beautiful and clean, very luxurious and lots of space! Decor is very tasteful and we were all made to feel very welcome. We really feel like it wasn't "just another wedding", there was a real personal touch, and that made it all the more special. Thank you all so much.

Truly the best day of our lives
We had the entirety of our wedding day here and it’s the best decision we could’ve made! They put our minds at ease through the whole process and went well above our expectations. The food was indescribable, honestly the best food we’ve ever had and we got the same feedback from many of our guests. We were made to feel so comfortable and we were sad to leave! The court house itself is so beautiful, we fell in love the second we saw it and the attentiveness of the staff just added to it! We will never forget or stop talking about Glewstone and that definitely won’t be our last time visiting!
