The Drawing Room
Two arched windows, a coffered ceiling and a floor to ceiling bay window that brings the garden views inside. Fully licensed, for any season, any weather.
Glewstone Court offers elegance and sophistication, a wedding venue where you can truly have fun and relax, and where the standards of service are impeccable.

No conveyor belt, and no other wedding waiting in the wings. Our packages give you a clear starting point, and everything within them is yours to shape. Across a two day hire, the entire house and grounds belong to you and your guests, exclusively.
We’re family-run and it shows. From the first viewing to the last dance, you’re looked after by people who know your names, your plans and where on the lawn you’d like the chairs.
Licensed for civil ceremonies indoors and out, with our local parish church a mile or two away.

Share your vows beneath a majestic Cedar planted in 1520, or on the bottom lawn in front of the apple orchard, with the Wye Valley on the horizon.

If you’d prefer a religious service, our local parish church, St Matthews at Marstow, is a mile or two away. Glewstone takes the rest of the day from there.
The Morning Room, the Lounge and the Drawing Room each have their own character and flow seamlessly into one another. You do not need all three for your wedding breakfast, you choose the setting that suits your numbers. The Drawing Room is our largest single room and seats up to 70 on its own. Combine the Morning Room and the Lounge and you can seat up to 80 across the two.
Parquet floors, original fireplaces and garden views. If your guest list is larger, a marquee on the lawn is an option. The marquee is not ours, but we work with a trusted supplier, arrange the whole thing for you and handle the admin.

Every plate comes out of our own kitchen, cooked by the team who wrote your menu. We build those menus around the season and the Herefordshire larder, tailored to your day.
As evening falls, up to 130 join you for the celebration. The Courtyard Bar opens and the fires are lit, while the dancing carries on late into the Herefordshire night.
Celebrations run to 11pm as standard, and you can extend through to midnight for a small extension fee. Your guests stay the night under the same roof, so the day finishes with a slow breakfast together the next morning.

The house sleeps up to thirty across ten individual bedrooms, from chandeliered suites to characterful rooms under the eaves. That maximum number uses every room at its full occupancy, additional beds included.
Stay the night before with your nearest and dearest, and wake up on the morning of your wedding in the house itself. Relaxed, unhurried, running to your own timeline.
